Specifications

BetaRich is a light to dark brown colored liquid with specific gravity of 1.10-1.10 g/ml and is completely miscible with water. BetaRich complies with recommended specifications for Food Grade enzymes.

Applications

BetaRich degrades β-glucans, pentosanes and other non-starch polysaccharides (NSP’s). These NSP’s can be found in malt, wort and in the beer, and cause various technical problems. Using BetaRich results in;

  • Compensation of lower quality malt.
  • Lower viscosity of mash and wort.
  • Improved filterability.
  • Prevention of turbidity.

Recommended Conditions

  • Optimum pH: 5.0-6.0
  • Optimum Temperature: 55-60 ℃
  • Dosage: The dosage depends on the reaction conditions such as raw material, pH and temperature. The optimal dose rate should be determined in lab trials. For first trials a dose rate of 0.005 - 0.02% on grist weight is recommended.

Packing

BetaRich is available in standard 30 kg HDPE Drums.

Storage

GlucoRich - BG should be stored in a cool, dry place. It retains its declared activity for at least a period of 12 months when stored at 4 ℃ and for at least 6 months at 25 ℃.
